Hope 4 Holidays: Advent season is approaching and this year, we’re partnering with an organization called Home Suite Hope. Their mission is to break the cycle of poverty for single parents and their children by offering a variety of vital support services. Their Christmas campaign, ‘Hope 4 Holidays’, involves families who are in need being sponsored by donors.

There are a few ways to get involved in this campaign: 

The first way is by donating items. Any one item or gift should be under $50. We as a church have sponsored 5 families and there is a list of gifts and items for each family that we would love to collect and donate to them. The list of items is written on our whiteboard and is available here. You can either write your name or initials by the item(s) you’d like to donate on the whiteboard OR you can email Holly at hollyquinn@springgardenchurch.ca with the item(s) you’d like to donate.

Items can be dropped off on Sundays or during office hours, Monday - Thursday from 9:00am - 4:00pm before December 5. 

The donation collections end in early December because of our Gift Wrapping Party! This will be a morning spent wrapping the gifts that are donated. We will be hosting this on Saturday, December 13 from 10:00am - 12:00pm in the Multipurpose Room. All the supplies will be provided and a light brunch will be served, too. Anyone is welcome to attend. We believe this will be a great way to do something more personal for these families!
