Children’s Ministry
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Intergenerational Ministry
We believe that God has created the church to be an intergenerational gathering of Jesus followers. We need people of all ages and stages in order for us to be the people of God. Therefore, we make every effort to infuse all of our ministries with this philosophy in mind. We know that this can be “messy” but believe that this messiness is part of what it means to be an authentic community. We believe in doing life together.
Child Dedications
The dedication of children is an act in which parent(s) publicly present their child and themselves to God as an outward expression of their gratitude and desire to raise their child to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is a public act of dedicating the child before God and the faith community. It is a promise to love the child as Jesus has loved us. It is a promise for the parents to live out their faith at home and to lead their children by example in what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is a time of partnering with the Spring Garden faith community, promising to work together to help the child in his/her faith journey.
