life groups

It’s too easy to get lost or go unnoticed in a big city like the GTA or in a church like Spring Garden. So we offer Life Groups so everyone can have a place to belong. Life Groups are small gatherings of people who form a community. Group members share life together through friendship, learn from the Bible and other resources, pray for and give support to one another, and perform acts of service together. They are safe places where you can meet new people, discover your gifts for service, grow as a follower of Jesus, and have a lot of fun together.

Groups meet in homes or other venues throughout the week. Each group is as unique as the people in it. No matter where you are in life, there is a Life Group for you. And, if there isn’t one, we’ll help you start a new one.

There is a bible study in the Meeting Room every Sunday morning from 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m. Everyone is welcome! Bring a Bible if you have one.

On Sunday mornings following community worship there are always people available to pray with you in the prayer room if you would like someone to pray with you. We also have a prayer room that you can go in and pray anytime.

Pastoral care involves visiting in hospital or home, providing food, welcoming people, praying for and with others, a phone call, etc.

In Spring Garden, most of our pastoral care is done through one another amongst our Life groups. However, for those not in a Life Group or with greater need of care, please contact Greg Kay (, 416-223-4593 x224) to be connected to a Pastor or Elder of the church.
